Pay: £130-£190 per day (dependent on experience and school)

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across different primary year groups, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.

You will be expected to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff, maintain high expectations and create a calm, inclusive and productive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across primary year groups
• Adapt confidently to different classroom situations and pupil needs
• Maintain positive behaviour management in line with school policies
• Create a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community
• Ensure continuity of learning and maintain high classroom standards
• Provide appropriate feedback and complete any required handover notes

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Is confident teaching across different primary year groups
• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is adaptable, reliable and confident working independently
• Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
