SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Leeds
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only - Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Group: 4-17 years
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £92 - £95 (depending on experience)

NextGen Teachers are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping children succeed whilst being patient and supportive within a classroom setting. This is an incredible school where you will be assisting in classrooms with around 10 pupils who have needs such as Autism, ADHD and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learners with a range of complex needs in daily learning
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated, inclusive lessons
• Work flexibly across sites to meet changing learner needs
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare
• Record progress and report concerns to staff and senior leaders

• Experience working with children is essential
