Location: Leeds
Contract: Part-Time, Term-Time
Hours: Monday toWednesday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Group: 14-16 years
Start Date: June 2026
Salary: MPS-UPS (dependent on experience)
NextGen Teachers are looking for a qualified (QTS) ART Teacher who has experience delivering GCSE Art lessons across Key stage 4 within a specialist SEMH setting. Do you deliver creative art lessons that help engage and support students with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs? Then we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Art lessons across KS4, adapted to meet the needs of learners with SEMH needs
- Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Ensure all pupils can access and progress within the curriculum
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress in line with GCSE requirements and school assessment systems
- Work collaboratively with staff and support services to support pupil wellbeing, engagement and personal development
What we're looking for:
- A Qualified Art Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience delivering GCSE art lessons
- A strong understanding of SEMH needs and inclusive education
