Location: Castleford
Contract: Part-time, Term-Time Only. Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £92 - £95 per day

Do you currently hold a level 3 Teaching Certificate? Are you looking for an immediate start and available to travel within Castleford? If so, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fantastic school you'll be joining with a wonderful environment where you'll be supporting Early Years to KS1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering learning activities across EYFS and KS1.
• Work with individuals and small groups to support early reading, writing and maths.
• Create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Help observe and record pupil progress.
• Support inclusion and assist children with additional needs.

What we're looking for:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working with children in EYFS and/or KS1.
• A positive, caring and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to support phonics, early reading, writing and maths.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable).
• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and promoting positive behaviour.
