NextGen Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive mainstream secondary school in Crawley. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in education, youth work, or support roles who are passionate about helping young people succeed.

You will be supporting pupils across the curriculum, including those with SEN, SEND, SEMH, autism, and additional learning needs.

• Location: Crawley - Mainstream Secondary School
• Pay: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
• Hours: 08:30am - 4:15pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Contract: Ongoing Supply
• Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide consistent, targeted support both in and out of the classroom.

• Provide in-class support across a range of subjects
• Work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups
• Support pupils with SEN, SEND, SEMH, autism, and learning difficulties
• Deliver targeted interventions and tailored learning support
• Help build student confidence, engagement, and academic progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, Youth Worker, or Behaviour Support
• Interest or experience in SEN, SEND, autism, or SEMH
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, reliable, and student-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Committed to supporting students' development and wellbeing
