Are you a passionate and caring SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Harrogate?

NextGen Teachers is working with a welcoming and vibrant specialist SEN school in Harrogate, supporting children and young people aged 2-19 with a range of additional needs.

The school caters for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), physical disabilities and Autism.

This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children with complex needs, helping them develop their communication, independence, confidence and life skills.

You will work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and other professionals to provide tailored support and create a positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

We Are Looking For Teaching Assistants Who:

• Have experience working with children or young people with SEND

• Have an understanding of Autism, PMLD, SLD or physical disabilities

• Are confident providing 1:1 and small-group support

• Can support pupils with communication, personal development and independence

• Are patient, compassionate and adaptable

• Can support pupils with complex needs and varying levels of ability

• Are confident working collaboratively with teachers and multidisciplinary teams

• Are reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and candidates with transferable care, support work or childcare experience are encouraged to apply.
