Since May 2024, NextGen Teachers has been supporting a newly established SEN school in Leeds, through a period of rapid expansion. During this time, we have managed recruitment across a wide range of essential roles including Teachers, HLTAs, Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants.
Over the past 12 months, this partnership has achieved significant results. This approach not only sped up the recruitment timeline but also gave the school valuable time to complete onboarding, compliance checks and induction procedures. Permanent Recruitment
For permanent positions, we strengthened the schools candidate pipeline and increased applications by 50% across all core roles. The school retained full control of the process, taking responsibility for shortlisting, interviewing and making final decisions, while we supported the recruitment through fixed introduction fees to ensure clarity and cost-effectiveness.
This model aligned fully with Safer Recruitment principles. It helped the school successfully fill all vacancies, reduce advertising spend and minimise reliance on supply staffing during their growth period.
