Autism Support Assistant - Leeds Specialist Provision

Full Time Permanent Position

NextGen Teachers are currently working with a Specialist Provision located in Leeds who are seeking to recruit a full-time Autism Support Assistants to support there pupils with Complex needs starting in September 2025 on a permanent basis.

The SEN provision is part of a multi-academy trust which is passionate about offering their staff monetary benefits alongside a competitive salary. This provision caters for pupils across the Primary and Secondary age range who have a range of Complex needs including: Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and who are non-verbal.

The role of an Autism Support Assistant in this school will be to:

• Support pupils in the classroom on a day to day basis
• Working with multiple pupils and supporting students with 1-2-1 support and Intervention
• Support pupils with their holistic development in line with there Educational Health Care Plans
• Supporting and managing the behaviour of the students
